The Baruch College Fund (BCF) is proud to be an official charity partner of New York Road Runners for the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon! The course runs through all five of New York City’s boroughs: Staten Island, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, and Manhattan’s iconic Central Park. It is a 26.2 mile block party through the world’s most diverse city, and a model for big-city marathons around the world.
Through this partnership, we are able to provide you the opportunity to make your miles meaningful and support the Baruch College community by raising awareness and funds that benefit thousands of Baruch students.
The BCF raises funds to help advance the mission of Baruch College. The money raised by the BCF enables the College to provide a place of opportunity and exploration where students, faculty, and staff transform their futures, their professions, and their communities. In the heart of New York City, our diverse and inclusive community is driven by learning, innovative knowledge creation, and intellectual discovery for local and global impact.
We support the brightest and most ambitious students, many of whom come from disadvantaged and historically underrepresented backgrounds. A degree from Baruch College offers these students, their families, and their communities the opportunity to achieve financial freedom and social mobility.
Notably, 57% of Baruch undergraduates come from households earning less than $40,000*. Through scholarships and programs funded by the BCF, the average salary for a 2024 Baruch graduate was $68,807and 84% of Spring 2023 graduates had no federal student loan debt. This transformative impact is at the heart of our mission, and we are excited to align it with the NYC Marathon’s legacy of change and empowerment.

AS A TEAM BARUCH COLLEGE FUND ATHLETE YOU RECEIVE:
- A coveted spot in the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon
- Fundraising assistance and tips from BCF staff, along with a personalized fundraising page
AS A TEAM BARUCH COLLEGE FUND ATHLETE YOU WILL:
- Commit to raise at least $5,000 by August 31, 2026. All runners will be required to sign a fundraising agreement that acknowledges the fundraising requirement and deadline.
- Notify friends and family of your participation in the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon through email, social media and conversations!
- Have the competitive experience of a lifetime.
- Support Baruch College and transform the lives of its students.
