Every week, more than 18,000 students use our 92 state-of-the-art classrooms. All classrooms are in the innovative 17-floor William and Anita Newman Vertical Campus, which was honored in 2003 by the American Institute of Architects with the highest award it offers to an individual building. Its "smart" classrooms include live Internet, teleconferencing, and video playback—cutting edge technology that helps prepare students for today's careers.

To compete with top academic institutions, Baruch needs to provide support for their faculty to hire graduate assistants; travel to conferences to present research; purchase data, software and special hardware; and develop new classes or curricula.
Endowed chairs enable Baruch to attract outstanding talent to the faculty. Because the endowment secures the position itself, it enables Baruch to appoint a distinguished professor and build a tradition of leadership in the selected discipline. The endowed chair is widely recognized as the most prestigious honor a college can bestow upon a faculty member.
Research funds are crucial to strengthening and providing the resources needed for faculty to advance in their discipline. Funds also help junior faculty members and graduate students to explore their own original ideas and research methods.

Baruch believes that every student should have access to the best education regardless of household income. The reality is that some of the most-talented high school graduates accepted to Baruch will never step foot on campus. It’s not because they lack desire or are unwilling to work hard for a college education, but because they cannot afford the full cost of an education—tuition and living expenses can add up to what their families earn in an entire year.
Each year, Baruch puts a degree within reach for thousands of students who without financial aid might not ever have the opportunity. Unfortunately, the College is not able to help every students without additional support from alumni like you.
The Student Emergency Fund provides grants to students who encounter short-term financial issues that jeopardize their ability to continue their education.
Grants are used by students for food, housing, childcare, medical bills, textbooks, transportation, and much more.
The Baruch College Fund (BCF) is proud to be an official charity partner of New York Road Runners, for the TCS New York City Marathon this year! The course runs through all five of New York City’s boroughs: Staten Island, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, and Manhattan’s iconic Central Park. It is a 26.2 mile block party through the world’s most diverse city, and a model for big-city marathons around the world.
